Who Are We?
Colin Wells (former Sussex and One Day International Cricket Player for England), his wife Kate and one year old daughter are the new family owners of Notts Coffee House & Tea Garden and Nott's Cottage.
We run the cottage as self catering accommodation for both short and long term lets and for those who do not want to commit to a six month contract, when moving between houses. We can also on occasions offer the cottage for people looking for bed and breakfast - breakfast served in the coffee house.
The Accommodation
Nott's Cottage (as you will see when you visit), originally formed the stables to the main house of the Chattery Court Garden circa 1850. I think that you will find the accommodation has progressed from a bed of hay to two ensuite bedrooms; one double and one a twin room! The cottage itself has its own private access from Richmond Road entrance.
If you have a had a hard day on the golf course, or taken a long walk accross the South Downs, then why not then relax and have some refreshments in our coffee house. Colin although an excellent all rounder in cricket, has also a very good reputation for his culinary skills which compliment his cook and members of staff!
Locality
Notts Cottage is sitauted in the coastal town of Seaford, just off the A259, a short stroll from the railway station, seafront and promenade, and 3 miles from the ferry port of Newhaven (crossings to Dieppe, France).
